Itinerary
- Depart Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a 2.5-hour drive to Alexandria.
- Upon arrival, meet your expert Egyptologist guide and begin your exploration:
- Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa – one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
- Pompey’s Pillar – a remarkable Roman triumphal column.
- Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) – a modern cultural landmark built near the ancient one.
- Qaitbay Citadel – a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
- Drive along the Corniche and stop for photos by the Mediterranean Sea.
