The great pyramid was built as a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and estimate that it was built in the 26th century BC during a period of around 27 years.
Initially standing at 146.5 meters (481 feet), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. Throughout history, the majority of the smooth white limestone casing was removed, which lowered the pyramid's height to the present 138.5 meters. What is seen today is the underlying core structure. The base was measured to be about 230.3 meters (755.6 ft) square, giving a volume of roughly 2.6 million cubic meters (92 million cubic feet), which includes an internal hillock

You will be picked up from your hotel by Marsa Alam tour guide to enjoy Cairo Day Tour to Memphis Sakkara Pyramids. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser as a burial place for Pharaoh Djoser Although it may not possess the same grandeur or fame as the Giza Pyramids, this structure predates them and plays a crucial role in archaeologists' comprehension of pyramid construction's evolution.
Then Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant.
After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
Serapeum at Sakkara
Serapeum, the burial place of the Apis bulls, also called the house of Osarapis by the Ancient Egyptians. (The term 'Serapeum' )properly refers only to the temple above ground.) The visitor usually sees only the underground rock-cut chambers. The Avenue of Sphinxes leading to this complex from the E was discovered by Mariette in 1850. He found that the sphinxes led to a dromos
containing Greek statues of animals connected with the rites of Dionysius-peacocks, leopards and mythological creatures-and also a semicircle of Greek philosophers and poets that stands before a Temple ofNectanebo II (largely ruined). The cult of Serapis was introduced into Egypt from Europe by Ptolemy I with the intention of providing a god capable of being worshipped by both Greeks and Egyptians. Apis bulls were considered sacred from very early times in Egypt, as a representation of the soul of Ptah, and they also had close connections with Osiris as deliverers of oracles. In addition, other gods such as Anubis, one of the gods associated with embalming, were worshipped here.
Shepseskaf, Menkaure's son, was the last pharaoh of Dynasty IV. His tomb, called Mastabat el-Fara'un in Arabic, is found at South Saqqara and is known as the 'Pharaoh's Bench'The large mastaba of Shepseskaf was first explored by Auguste Mariette in 1858 and has been studied by many other archaeologists. Gustave Jequier confirmed the identification of its owner, Shepseskaf, in 1925 after finding a piece of the pharaoh's name.

► Day 5 Dahasur and The Sun Temple of Niuserre at Abu Ghorab
Pick up from your hotel to visit Dahshur, Two of the later pyramids constructed here have been completely destroyed by time, and the elements and several others, such as the Black Pyramid (12th Dynasty, 1929-1885 BC), are badly damaged, but Dahshur also boasts two of Egypt’s best-preserved early pyramids. Both built during the reign of King Sneferu (2613-2589 BC), the founder of the 4th Dynasty, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid at Dahshur are massive evidence of the architectural development that lead to the construction of the Great Pyramid and it companions at Giza.
Niuserre’s sun temple is located at Abu Ghurob (Abu Ghurab), not far from Abusir where his pyramid is located and many other 5th Dynasty kings built their pyramids as well. Abu Ghurob lies about six miles southwest of Cairo. Years ago, before the purpose of Niuserre’s structure was known, it was called the “Pyramid of Righa” by travelers. Niuserre’s sun temple was originally excavated by the German archeologists, Ludwig Borchardt and Heinrich Schafer between 1898 and 1901. We believe it was originally made with mudbrick walls forming a grid that was then filled with rubble. Later, these mudbrick “retaining” walls were sheathed in a casing of yellow limestone blocks. It basically had three primary components, consisting of a valley temple a desert or upper temple, and a causeway that connected the two. The name of the sun temple was originally (Delight of Ra’).
